Netiarst OÜ

Netiarst OÜ is the first company in Estonia that offers telemedicine services, and has attracted a number of different other health service providers to join them. Consultations are handled by licensed doctors and consultants, who are practicing in their specialities daily, and who consult patients in the practical format of telemedicine, in addition to regular consultations at doctors’ surgeries. Telemedicine is an innovative form of brokered health services, which is becoming increasingly more popular across the world. Telemedicine differs from regular surgery consultations only by the fact that the physician and the patient are not located physically in one and the same room, and instead consultations are given either through a video link or by telephone. The telemedicine service provided by Netiarst.ee has been approved by the Health Board. Any potentially sensitive health related information stays strictly confidential between the doctor or the consultant and the patient. ee provides a telemedicine channel, while Netiarst OÜ themselves are not providers of health services; health services are rendered by holders of a health service activity license.
