Tallinn Sports and Youth Department

The Tallinn Sports and Youth Department is an agency of Tallinn, the largest local government unit of Estonia, whose main activities include planning and organisation of sporting and youth activities in the city; creating possibilities for playing sports, recreational activities and informal learning; carrying out studies aimed at organisation of sporting and youth activities in the city, gathering and analysing statistical data of city in their respective area, and publicising of information; shaping the development trends in their respective area for the city’s sporting and youth work agencies as well as other involved agencies of the city.

RELATION WITH THE CLUSTER

The Tallinn Sports and Youth Department contributes into the development of the cluster network in Estonia and internationally, because the Department has close relations with cities in neighbouring countries, and parties in charge of sporting and youth work. The Department is able to provide assistance in promoting services and products of the partners of the cluster related to active lifestyle, and deepen cooperation with local governments in Estonia neighbouring countries.
