Foundation Tartu University Hospital

Foundation Tartu University Hospital. The principal lines of activity are teaching, treatment of patients, and scientific research. The Hospital is the only medical institution in Estonia that provide instruction to undergraduate medical students. As a part of the University the Hospital plays the key role in offering post-graduate training to physicians, and developing medical science in Estonia. The Foundation Tartu University Hospital provides outpatient and in-patient specialist medical care in every field of medicine (except family medicine), in certain narrower specialities the Hospital is the only medical institution in Estonia providing specialist medical care at the highest level.

RELATION WITH THE CLUSTER

The objective of the Tartu University Hospital is to promote comprehensive development of sports medicine as a whole through broad-based cooperation. By participating in the cluster, and productive cooperation with other partners the Hospital seeks to ensure more efficient functioning and higher recognition of the field of sports medicine, as well as an increase in demand for sports medicine services.
